Actually it's this year's "perigee moon" sailing over our front yard on the night of May 5th. But the sky that night was boringly clear. So M borrowed these clouds from the night before.

Very nice photo! I went out to see the old man sail, but he was completely submerged in heavy clouds.
I'll have to wait until June 4 and hope the skies are clearer when the full moon will be only slightly less super (0.6% farther away or about 0.6% "smaller.") Think we’ll notice the difference?
Did M let you howl at that big ol’ moon? A dog’s gotta have fun!
